Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
